About Peqo

People infrastructure,
built differently.

Peqo was born from a simple frustration: growing companies shouldn't need five disconnected tools to manage their team, run payroll, and track equity. We're building the system that connects all three.

Mission

Give every growing company a single source of truth for their people, money, and ownership — so they can focus on building, not reconciling spreadsheets.

Vision

A world where HR, payroll, and equity aren't three separate industries — they're one seamless experience that every employee can understand and trust.

The problem we saw

Most startups begin with a handful of tools: one for HR, another for payroll, maybe a spreadsheet for cap table management. It works at 10 people. At 50, it breaks. At 200, it's chaos.

Employee exits take weeks because HR, payroll, and equity live in different systems. ESOP exercises get stuck in email chains. Due diligence for your next round means a month of data wrangling.

We built Peqo because we believe this is a solvable problem — not with another point solution, but with a connected platform that treats people, money, and ownership as what they are: deeply interlinked.

Where we are

Private beta, building with design partners.

  • The first product is live: one connected data model for people, payroll and equity, with AI document import and a permission-aware assistant.
  • We're onboarding a small group of growing companies and building the roadmap with them.
  • Based in Germany. We're starting with German payroll, and more EU countries will follow.

What we believe

Ship fast, stay focused

We solve real problems for real teams. No feature bloat, no slide-ware. Every line of code earns its place.

Trust by default

Your people data is sacred. We encrypt everything, limit access, and never sell data. Period.

Built for operators

HR, finance, and founders shouldn't need a consultant to use their own tools. We keep it intuitive.

Equity is a team sport

Everyone who builds should understand what they own. Transparency creates alignment.
