Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Peqo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including administrators, employees, and viewers.

2. Description of Service

Peqo provides a cloud-based platform for managing people operations, payroll processing, and equity administration. The Service is offered on a subscription basis to business customers.

3. Accounts & Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.

4. Customer Data

You retain all rights to the data you upload to Peqo ("Customer Data"). We will not access, use, or share your Customer Data except as necessary to provide the Service, with your permission, or as required by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Customer Data and for obtaining any necessary consents from individuals whose data is processed through the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Peqo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription period.

6. Payments & Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as agreed upon sign-up. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We may adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice.

7. Uptime & Support

We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Support is available via email during business hours.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peqo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a data export for 30 days, after which your data will be permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
